The only complain in terms of items that have been delivered to me are poor delivery times (painted as GBs issues), lack of interesting in keeping good communication with their community, and price ramps for no apparent good reason (like Holy Pandas).
One item I love and when arrived worked flawlessly are my Helm TWS 5.0. 2 months after my purchase their battery will refuse to go above 90%. Besides that I've had no QC complaints, although I know that my incoming Invyr stems are a mess, but at least they are offering me a full refund.
No company is perfect, and I understand that, but since they paint themselves as community heroes, who strive to offer unique experiences, I can tell from my short one, buying here is no different from buying on eBay, minus the stylized web site. I don't feel I'm buying from a premium company.
EDIT: Forgot about their blatant lying, painting all-time existing deals as holiday specials. That left me with really bad taste about them, and if not for a couple of items that still interest me, I would have left them already.
Alejo1707Agreed, I'm probably gonna wait and see what they can offer me here when black Friday kicks off, if it's something good I will stay and if not probably not
Legit just bought the 9500 open box for $55, and I’ll say the bass on that pair is adequate for my purposes. Nice soundstage. A real value at that price. Not to mention the 9500 don’t look as generic as the 9600.
Just looked, 129.99 on Amazon, right now, with free shipping, and delivered TOMORROW, ffs. Also, it is returnable until Jan 31st, 2021. Going by your track history, people will still be wondering where there orders are, before the return window closes. Sad...why would anyone? It makes NO SENSE!
This is so sweet! I can come here, and pay to pre-order something, I can buy for the same price, or cheaper, and have them in my hands right now! Thanks drop, your business model is truly amazing, and inspires such originality! Not even bothering to add an "x" and act like it is some new and improved version your "engineers" expertly made, anymore? But, somehow did it for less than the actual manufacturer could(due to not buying poor qulaity materials, i'm guessing). If you were a person, you would be a lunatic, and locked away. lol
shkdwnstI miss the days when Drop would put their spin on a product and add the X. It felt like something special and like I was part of a community. Taking a tried and true product optimizing it somehow and changing a color. Was worth buying in early for me. I used to get so excited when I got an email from Drop with the new deals. They used to highlight products as they were being developed and tested and asked for our opinions. And because of our Patience and feedback the pricing was discounted - like actually discounted. Look at the HD-6XX and how many they have sold. That is from when drop actually stuck to their business model. Now it’s like a clearance house for electronics that aren’t selling-WITHOUT A DISCOUNT AND LONGGG SHOPPING TIMES.

Phillips just released the 9600 and X3 a few months ago. The fact that one of these models is already on Drop is a very bad omen. That means they’re not selling at all...
PhoneheadfanAwesome way to drive sales, by not shipping the headphones for almost 2 months, after getting them to buy them. When if anyone wanted them, they would go to Amazon, or maybe Ebay, and get a possibly better deal, but you would be enjoying your purchase before the weekend, rather than having to wait til just before New Years..lol Are you even a serious business, anymore, drop?? Because it truly seems like just a big joke, at this point, and was always a bit shady, imo. Making people think they were buying the same exact piece of equipment from you, but for much cheaper. I don't know why all those companies allowed you to make inferior copies of their products, with a couple of your logos added, and of course, all the "upgrades", that somehow caused the cost to go down. But, if it is one thing Drop has always been known for, is poor build quality in their damn near, ALL, of the product runs. Especially the first "releases"..always alot of issues to be ironed out. Nearly all, build quality related.
"Something interesting this way comes"~
Hailing from a worthy lineage, it looks comfortable and its clean design is pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately, circulating reviews and measurements alike are not on its side
