I've used them for Studio recording and they are quiet. No noticeable noise from stepping on them, but this also comes from the fact that you should never step on a mic cable, (I have blown speaker's to prove it). They are very flexible but I never had the urge to cut one apart to look at its guts because the're currently in use. Pig Hogs speaker wire is 14ga if that matters to you, but mic and instrument cables do not depend gauge size to provide clarity like speaker cables do, they depend on the quality of the materials and how well they are shielded.

MIKSThanks. What I was getting at was, the product's been touted based on irrelevancies like the fatness of the jacketed assembly, with no info about the innards. I want to add that even with low-voltage, low-impedance cables, it can matter a lot how they are built. This shows up more on a crowded, RF-polluted stage than in a spare bedroom in the country.
I sure you can pay more for a lesser product, but the lifetime warranty is not so unusual, and I care more about what's inside the jacket than the outside diameter.
Are these flexible? Are they noisy if someone happens to step on them? What are the gauges of the stranded conductors and how are they shielded?
Does the lifetime warranty apply to international customers as well? If so, is it handled by Massdrop or does the manufacturer need to be contacted directly?
