A real value at $1500

This was a bargain at this price. The original list of this watch when released in 2015 was $6850. It appears to be one of the original limited edition group of 500 pieces (mine is #349). They may have been in a warehouse somewhere for years or? The presentation materials (box, manuals etc) are extensive and top notch. The quality of the watch itself is in line with other better watches I own. Not quite as good as my Omegas but as good as my Breitlings etc. The overall fit and finish is very good and while it's a bit thick at 14.7mm it is comfortable and wears well with the stock leather strap. The strap is my only minor complaint. while it is well made the actual latch mechanism seems too complex and is not easy to quickly remove and put on. I will likely replace mine with a titanium bracelet. The double sided anti-reflective coating on the crystal makes the display very clear and easy to read. All the dials are perfectly aligned and return precisely to their center positions after using the chronograph function. On the Timegrapher (see photo) it shows 0 seconds/day deviation in most positions after running for an hour. During real world wearing I'm seeing -.7 seconds/day deviation after a week. Well within the COSC standard which these watches ARE certified as indicated in several areas of the documentation and manual. I am very satisfied with the watch itself and the purchase from Drop. This is a welcome addition to my collection.

BruceCI am really happy when receiving mine just before 1 Oct, though the box came in not so intact. I ordered that because, of course, I really like its aesthetics, craftsmanship, rarity of the limited edition and it is one of the two very first watches manufactured by PD herself without collaboration with any other manufacturer. Besides, I would like to test by action as I have been a bit skeptics on how DROP could purchase/gather so many pieces of a sold-out model (maybe off-from-stack only) of a famous brand. And at the end, to my surprise, it really came and it seems came from Porsche Design direct, not from any other AD or retailers! Good job, Drop!
