These strike me as almost the holy grail of bluetooth, noise-cancelling headphones. Reviews seem to indicate that the sound quality is phenomenal (extremely close to the Harman Curve). My main questions are: How is the battery life? I'm aware the AAA batteries can be swapped out, but I'm wondering how much you get from a full charge with the included rechargeables. How is the noise cancelling? Would they do well to combat cabin noise on a long flight? Are these comfortable for long sessions?

I had a pair of these for a short time, and right now don't really recall why I did not keep them. Two points to mention on these - 1. The battery is replaceable!!! Under one of the PSB panels is a AAA size battery that you can take out and replace yourself. 2. The headphone can act as a USB DAC when connected directly to a computer via USB. These also have the Harman curve tuning which I liked a lot.

How do these fare vs. the NAD Viso HP70??? I understand that the latter are actually a bit worse than the old wired NAD Viso HP-50. Does the same hold for the M4U8 vs. the old wired M4U1 and M4U2???
