Product Description
Handmade in Pennsylvania by a group of Magic fans looking for a better way to store and transport their cards, the REP Gaming hardshell case was met with enormous praise upon initial release. But after receiving slight criticism due to the handle placement in the Tolarian Community College Review, REP Gaming went back to the drawing board and improved it even further Read More
Overall i am super happy with the case, if i were to offer suggestions on improvements i think i would say the divider system needs an overhaul, i would like the ability to set the depth of each divider point for each channel rather than a divider that stretches across all 3.
(for reference i use mine to store Arkham Horror the Card Game, and not every mini deck is the same card size)
I was initially skeptical, as I have had bad experiences with cases in the past, but this one delivered. Well made, easy to carry around, and very configurable. I would highly recommend this for someone with multiple decks, who wants to just grab a case and go to a friends house or to the local LGS.
Other than a slight gap in the lid connections the case is fantastic. I received the version with the handle on the side and have been using it for nearly a year with not wear or tear marking it up. I would highly recommend it in order to hold a cube or various decks without them being in a case.
It worked really well for me. I had my MTG cards tuckered into several deck boxes, plus extra on fat pack boxes, and all in a cheap box. Now all my cards fit nicely while sleeved, and everything is easy to travel with.
Nicely constructed.
This thing's pretty janky. I got the briefcase style and the wooden dividers flop around inside the case and cards slip underneath when I pick it up by the handle. I can glue them all together I guess, but still... Also, one of the padded feet isn't bolted all the way in so it's loose and rattly. I think I'm going to go back to my UltraPro and Dex boxes :P
Holds 12 sleeved commander decks. Middle slots are not big enough to hold 100 sleeved cards, so there is a little bit of awkward unused space. Build quality is excellent and latches are secure.
Nicely constructed, but too loose for the European sized cards I had hoped to use with it. Specifically, I was hoping for a better fit for my Dominion cards.
Case works great, and is durable, but the black material started immediately "leaking" its ink and adhesive. I noticed it after is completely marked up and ruined a shirt I was wearing. Not sure what is happening, but I've have to be super careful using the case.
bmg50barrettHi there,
I do apologize about that! This is something that should not be happening. I would be happy to replace your case if you would like one that does not do that. Please email me directly and I can take care of it for you. My name is Dan Lanpher and my email address is dlanpher@repindustries.com. Again my apologies!
