Is a date window a deal breaker for most of this community?
I like the overall look, the amount of detalis, simplicity, estettic of this watch. And this package comes in price, which I consider as a good deal.

It looks like one of the Orient designers was integrated into the Seiko team. There is definitely an Orient or OrientStar vibe here. Or maybe Seiko is rebranding the Orient stuff as Seiko now.
Seiko Epson acquired Orient and dissolved the Orient corporate entity; I'm aware of that. What I'm saying is that this watch is branded Seiko, but the look uses OrientStar design gramamar. (Of course a large company like Seiko has at one point or another in its long career ripped off or riffed on every watch style in history. But Orient has stuck to a much narrower range of looks.)
OrientStar designs often include open heart holes or partial skeleton faces, overlapping or impinging complications, and roman numerals. Here's a new release that shows these design tropes:

No, I liked the old style better with the hashmarks. For some reason full dial roman numerals is flatter. The other watch pops.

DropKickMeJesusAh I thought it was the other way around. I’m passing on this one for the same reason as the other, no date window. But they are really attractive watches and this is a very good deal price wise. Most of these are floating around at $400+, and that’s if you can find them.
