No, I don't know of a reply from Massdrop, but I haven't been looking for one, either. In truth, I am on the very edge of what happened - I hadn't looked at MD for several days, and when I got back there was a frenzy of frantic, confused discussion about what had just happened. So I wasn't caught up in the storm at all. Because of that, I really have no skin in the game regarding that previous drop. So I haven't been actively looking for an explanation as to what went down. But the fact that the drop was terminated prematurely in what seemed like a panic, and the fact that the watch has now been offered at a much higher price (if, agruably, still a good deal for some), leads me personally NOT to expect to see it at that same price. Probably ever again. That's just me connecting the dots. I do agree, however, that Massdrop should provide some sort of explanation if, in fact, they haven't done so.

KTN, Have you seen an official MD statement about the issue? I haven't.. and until I see one I can only expect the same price.. It is an ostrich reaction until then (from MD).
