I just did a quick search and found that I could buy it right away for $99 (or cheaper) with free shipping from Amazon. Why are these drops even done? Is it primarily for foreign purchasers?
bsoplingerNot exactly sure, I'm from Denmark and it costs $208,85,- here. The $89 price from Massdrop is nice, but you have to pay $25% tax when it arrives.
Loved it when I looked at the pictures, the white dial seemed beautiful. Googled around and it seems that in reality the white dial is shiny and reflective as hell - which I personally dislike. Just a note if you're thinking of purchasing this watch.
I'm waiting until Massdrop offers some of the Seiko chronographs with solar technology. Although this watch is nice, given the negligible cost differences and nearly identical styles with the Seiko solar models, I see no reason ever choose a non-solar or kinetic quartz chronograph from Seiko.
What misleading by announcing $350 as original price. Amazon have it for $98. Besides it is eligible for Amazon Smile. I think, if Massdrop wants to keep its audience it should be honest at say the best price one can get.
