I also own these... Imo, just as bad as the ie80S. I have no idea how the company that produced the hd600 series could make iem's this bad.

It's not bloated or slow. There's just more of it than I like. It doesn't even go super deep, it's just there. The treble detail is there but you have to really listen to it because the bass dominates the mix somewhat. But it's tuned "safe" without the upper mid or treble spikes that afflict a lot of ChiFi. This might be a good thing for you and certainly if I was going on a long train journey I'd consider taking the IE60 because it isn't fatiguing. I can't recommend it wholeheartedly because as I said, plenty of cheaper IEMs do a better job. But if smooth and safe is your thing actually it's probably nicer tuned than anything Chinese. I haven't hear the Focals you've referenced so I can't compare.

I said "tend to be". A lot of people complain about the bass on the t2 which just doesn't wake up until you give it a good solid kick with power. Not liking the treble is a different thing entirely - I'd say Chinese kit probably isn't for you if you're sensitive enough to find the T2 treble uncomfortable. You ever heard the original KZ ZS10? Now that had AWFUL treble lmao.
