Why??? Not sure why Drop does this. Who would wait two months to save 7 dollars? Considering these but I would definitely not wait till January when I could have them next week if I wanted . What am I missing here ?
LGCiYeah, “next week” is an exaggeration but linsoul, even during Covid, ships to me in about ten days with standard shipping and express costs $15 for where I live.(3-7 days) The point is still why for seven dollars savings ? My guess is on December 28th they will still ship from China and be a couple more weeks. Whatever, I honestly don’t care. I just don’t understand it
1AudiophoolWell, for someone like me who works more than full time 6 days a week, has a 3 year old toddler to raise, has hardly any time to listen to music, and has a fairly sizeable backlog of IEMs and headphones to get familiar with, this timing actually works out.
I personally don't need to get any new IEM I purchase very quickly, so don't mind the wait and save the $7. I likely wouldn't even find time to unpack them until well after they've arrived, anyway.
I'm probably very much in the minority, but people like me do exist. So there is a subset of purchasers for whom this timing works.
Of course, it does really suck to have to wait to get something, for sure. I feel that way about other things that I find more pressing.
Luckily, Drop isn't the only place to get these and you have choices of vendors depending on your priorities.
quicklytoo4Ordered a pair (in black) from Linsoul 2 weeks ago. Just shipped today, supposed to be here Friday the 27th. Then we'll see if they are any good. Didn't notice the 16 ohm impedance.
der_boudieJust arrived. Plugged them into a Zishan DSDs. Getting a LOT of high frequency hiss, more so
in the left channel. Ears still ring couple hours later after 30 minutes of music. Frown!
