In what is probably the most irrelevant reason to be upset, I was sad when I found out that they changed the packaging between models. The non-pro model had this really cool round box with a piano illustration. The new version looks basically like Logitech G mouse packaging.
postwarscarsI get it and also had noticed the novelty of the piano design. People buy plenty of IEMs because of how they look, I'm sure. So making a point of the change in packaging isn't irrelevant at all, IMO.
WillyhereI'm a designer, so when I see unique packaging it really speaks to me. It's not irrelevant to me, or really the function of the product, but it's something that draws your attention to the item and communicates its worth to the customer. I love the original design, it's the kind of box I would find a use for just because of how interesting it is.
pressganeySame. I ordered as soon as possible after I saw that the pinna gain hump was tamed on BGGAR's graph. I hear they aren't shipping too quickly. You can find more info on linsoul's discord channel.
ShlushiiI own the normal ver., and the new one isn't so different, just a better tuning, adjustable bass vents, and more accessories.
They're not open back.
Electrostatic drivers are known for having good detail? I'm a noob in the hobby. One more familiar with dynamic and BA, I tried the Fiio FH3, FH7, and Ikkoh OH10 before buying the Tea
Muhammad.Muhibullahyeah true electrostatic driver headphone's (such as Stax) are known for being expensive but gods of detail (from what I've heard) and for IEM's not sure if there are any that use true electrostatic drivers but there are things like the Kinera Nannas which are in the price range of some Stax and everyone praises them
