Advanced USB Digital Interface

Not happy with your DAC’s current USB performance? The Singxer SU-1 USB digital interface allows a great bypass, with many claiming it brings an improvement to the default USB interface of their high-end DACs. This digital interface allows you to connect your DAC or receiver to your computer using coaxial, and will come in handy for audiophiles who want to bypass DACs with outdated USB interfaces, or those incompatible with their current setup. It features the highly regarded XMOS XU208 chip, which uses a more advanced process technology than previous XMOS chips. With more output options than the lower-priced F-1, the SU-1 includes an XLR balanced output, AES, I2S, S/PDIF, MCLK/WCK, and L2S through HDMI. It’s compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Android with the installation of a driver. A USB/coaxial cable is not included.

Note: This drop is for the black unit with the 110V power option.

The Reviews Are In

Head-Fi user project86 says, "The Singxer brought at least a small improvement to almost every DAC I tried. Interestingly, there was no real correlation between price and potential performance improvement. The Yulong D200 at $699 shows a very modest gain, while my Calyx Femto, which sells for roughly 10 times as much, gives a comparatively massive improvement; it's almost like listening to a whole new DAC. The obvious answer is that an expensive DAC should be more resolving and thus better able to showcase a superior source… I won't go on and on about each individual DAC other than to say A) the results were often surprising, and B) $399 was definitely worth it in the majority of cases."
