I try to refrain from negative comments but what has happened at Drop? They used to offer really good watches at really good prices!

So I have received the daily drop mail and wanted to check the price and see that it is sold through on the same day. Is it correct or am I wrong somewhere?

Rybson It's a fifty-dollar smart watch--how dumb do you think they are?

Soo, does the "music control" mean you can listen music from the watch? Or that you need your phone with you but you can change songs and volume from the watch? Is there a standard to these? (To "Hybrid watches")

For this price? I'd say yes to that question. Both my Skagen and Fossil hybrids do everything they advertise they'll do. As long as you keep Bluetooth turned on on your phone, they keep perfect time since they sync up with your phone's network time. The only "smart" function that I'm at all excited about is the ability to assign one of the buttons to "ring" your phone, though I've never had occasion to use it for anything other than showing it off. But if you're prone to setting your phone down and walking away from it (which I'm not), it would be a very useful function. But both watches are nice looking and keep excellent time, so $50 bucks ain't a bad price at all. I've had both of mine for six or eight months. I don't think I'm hard on my watches, generally speaking, but I do ride a Harley motorcycle and there's a ton of vibration on my hands/wrists all the time. Neither watch has failed so far, but that's really all I can say about durability. If you think you can use the "smart" functions, great, but I wouldn't recommend buying it for that reason. If you like the styling and need an inexpensive watch that keeps excellent time, just consider the "smart" functions as icing on the cake and you won't be disappointed.
