Running the show on the volume front is an NJRC NJW1195 chip that provides smooth response and low distortion. There’s even a “super bass” preamp output capable of driving your 2.1 setups with active subwoofers to bolster your bass even more. As for connectivity, you’ll find balanced XLR inputs and stereo line inputs alongside the requisite speaker outputs and that bonus subwoofer output for even more functionality. The SA400 also features Bluetooth 5.0 functionality with a pluggable antenna for steadfast wireless transmission from your source devices—complete with Qualcomm aptX codec support for low-loss transfer of your source audio. Made for the most demanding enthusiast setups, it sits in a CNC’d aluminum chassis and features a gorgeous color LCD screen to monitor formats, performance, and output.
