Is this still a possibility? Because what with the recent m8 drop some people might want to pick up one of these (such as myself). Or we could talk about getting the power supply, too. But I personally want to get the amp first.
ThatGuyMookieI think so its 120mw@600ohm , where as my O2 has 82mw@600ohm which drives it. I don't know how good it will drive it, but for sure it will be able to power it properly.
UzuzuThat may be true, however not everyone needs that much power, and some people want to match their amp with their DAC (people that bought an M8) or amazing SMSL P1 linear power supply. Combine all those units together and you have one helluva system. But hey if you need enough power to destroy a couple sets of cans at the same time then go ahead and get the E09K. Just to clarify I have used the E09K in the past and for me in my environment space is a commodity I am sadly in dire need of. Maybe it is time for a new desk bigger than ~2mx80cm.
IgosDuIkanaHey the TA-02 guy. This might be a good option considering the O2 can only deliver 88 mW and this can deliver 120 mW. It isn't Fiio E09k level of power (destroy your cans maybe? at full volume according to some), but it does deliver good low distortion power. <--basically what the new VMV lineup from SMSL is meant to do.
