Not sure if these actually work but fair warning, if you are not a locksmith it's actually an arrestable offense to be caught in possession of lock picking tools in the U.S.
EARiderYou can only be charged with a crime, if they can prove you committed, or tried to commit, a crime. Criminal tools is a secondary charge that gets added after they catch you using them. At worst they will be confiscated.
this is my ignorance, but: Why so many lock pick drops? I can understand so many of the drops. Demand) but just cant wrap my head around so many people wanting lock pick sets.. enlighten me; why?
Yeah people want a challenge to overcome... to get my TV.
I'm not acting like a know it all, I just don't see any legal use for a lock pick. I'd like to see you insult me face to face, Yankee troll!!! Now stop,OK?
TexasSlimEver lock yourself out of your own house? Ever have a friend do the same? Lockpicks do what locksmiths do. Why not restrict them only to locksmiths?
Lots of people don't see a use for loaded handguns. But there are scenarios in which they are useful and law-abiding citizens can use them. Sometimes, even licensed owners do bad things with them. mumrikFYI criminals very rarely use lock picking nowadays, there are a lot of other much easier ways of breaking-in. Lockpicking requires training, patience and knowledge that most of simple criminals lacking. The criminal professionals will rather use a bumping key, manual or electric bump guns or other means as a much faster way of entry.
These cheap lockpicking tools are mostly for hobbyists and people who lost their keys or locked themselves out of their homes.
wrong: every single pick I received with handles were just normal pieces of metal, I assume they are uncut/unfinished picks...
EDIT: pull off the black grips and it reveals the actual picks.... shove the grips back on the blank side
The one thing I don't like about this drop is the case. They charge a little extra for stainless steel handles, which I paid, but the zippered case is for the set with the rubber handles. The case for the ones with stainless steel handles is a snap top case that doesn't do a good job of keeping all the picks inside when it's closed...
