Come on, two more people join the drop! Been eyeing this table for a while, and as a broke college student every dollar saved is a blessing!

nerdeebirdeemy first turntable as a broke college student was a gemini from a garage sale some mom was doing to get rid of her son's stuff. i paid $30. i'm kinda questioning your "broke college student" cred :P
Agree, I can't image why you would want to plug into a DAC. But this cannot be plugged directly into a DAC as the turntable is not a USB host. The digital USB output is for plugging into a computer for digitizing needledrops (if you are into that). You could then play those back through your DAC.
Thanks, krikor. I stand corrected then. I am into needledrops, but I've never used a turntable with a built in ADC so my knowledge of the technical aspects here is admittedly limited :-) Faulty assumption on my part.
Not my color choice. My rig doesn't need to be a circus wagon.

i suppose the best thing this table has got going for it is the look, similar to a Pro-Ject or Rega. everything else definitely says entry-level, all the way to the AT cartridge. should be <$200 imo.
The look is classic retro. The plinth is solid wood, much heavier than ALL entry-level tables, but the cartridge, platter, and phono amp are all very much entry-level quality.
It's pretty obvious it is entry level but for entry level it's quite good. Lots of complaints about the Pro-Ject's although I think the Rega RP 1 does better.
How many more people need to say this is entry level?
novablue22I didn't realize the price had dropped so much at Amazon. I got mine for $199 on eBay. :-). It was my re-entry into vinyl and I gave it away to a friend after buying a Clearaudio concept.
I have one of these. It is a very nice entry level turntable, one of the best. The turquoise color was discontinued which is why the price is so good. The other colors are $399 at a lot of places. It's actually a pretty nice color though.
