Premium quality FOB
I've been using this FOB for almost if not over a year now. I have 0 complaints. It has been on my bags, my keys, (even possibly the dog since she is hard to spot in the dark!). This is a beautiful design and with the right isotope's the glow is mesmerizing. To the reviewer who complained that this FOB does not glow and has no instructions for where to get the isotopes (@Brassballs8): Can we try to Adult today? Sometimes when us girls and boys grow up, we have to learn to find things ourselves. When we can't it‘s ok to ask for help, but its not okay to review a product to 1 star and call it trash simply because one is too lazy to google or ebay "Isotope Tritium Vials". Lets come back when we are having a better day and read all the pertinent information before pressing buttons?

I love these fobs. I've got two of the triple isootope TEC fobs - this one and the Reactor. This one puts out a bit less light because of the way it holds them in place, but it feels sturdier and more likely to survive a drop or mishap. Triple fobs are expensive once you buy it and pay to fill it with tubes, but no way around it. They are really sharp looking with three similiar toned tubes in them. Pictured are the two triple TEC fobs and two singles.

Ah, you were asking about the single tube ones. The chain reaction takes only a half size isotope tube (and only 1 of them). Embrite is lame, it's a powder resin mix and more like traditional glow in the dark stuff. You need to charge it in light or uv to work and it fades quickly. I've never bought one because I want always available light. These triple models use 3mmx23 tubes while the chain reaction uses 3mmx11. Probably even the single s323 I have pictured above and part of the linked drop is going to be brighter. Unless you're always carrying around a light or going in and outside into sun a lot to charge the embrite, I'd stay with tritium.
If you've never owned tritium though just be aware none of them are "bright". My pictures are from a dark room. In a dim room you can just barely make out color. In any sort of light they just look like plain white tubes. Even at night they're more like locator light to find keys, tent stakes, zippers, bags, or whatever you attach them to. They aren't going to even have the same light output as a single birthday candle. They last for 8-10 years though without dimming so take that for what you will.

epsilon748Yeah I've had experience with tritium before no my firearm(s) so for the most part I know what to expect realistically. of course we would all love to have something that allows that beautiful glow to persist even in a bright room, however we're not quite there yet. I'm also really liking this (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/maratac-copper-peanut-lighter-lanyard,)but not able to find it any where with the lanyard unfortunately. So, I'm thinking I will go with either the chain reactor or just have my friend make me a lanyard (:

Fun little fob but expensive to buy the tritium rods for it.
Ordered the tritium rods, came from China taped in a sd card plastic case and wrapped in a used foil coffee or tea bag wrapper.

I love this thing! I bought tritium tubes from mixglo.com like some others suggested and they look great.

Should be advertised as "fob" instead of "Glow Fob", because it does not glow. Does not tell you where to get isotopes

Brassballs8It says repeatedly that tubes are not included. It is illegal for them to sell you tritium tubes in the US due to them being radioactive. You can legally buy them, but you need to import them. I get all mine from mixglo.com. They run around $13 a tube.

it is not complete it is just a keychain with nothing to make it glow, that would be a separate purchase from a different vendor

very good quality and very cool
I think this little isotope fob is very well made and is currently hanging from my keychain. I love looking at it at night. The only draw back is that I now, after purchasing the tritium tubes, have a nearly $100 key chain. Think about that for a minute.

Very tough and tiny
I put The TEC Accessories Isotope Triode Glow Fob on a very thin lintel above a doorway, that can be seen from my front door of my home in the dark. If I follow the glow, I know that I am on a cleared path, without tripping. I also laid out some yoga mats along that path. The slight springy feel and the low chance of tripping on them helps me stay safe. I also use 3xLED Automatic Dusk To Dawn Nightlights that are plugged into power points but are switched off. I switch them on as needed. Farewell Ivan

AmbuGood idea for traditional sensible people. I find the fob (or even just the light sources) so very very tiny that it fits anywhere ir the tiny place above doorways. No replacement cost.

Well, there's no actual "glow" in mine yet (because I need to learn to read descriptions more carefully - lol). But the titanium shape is gorgeous! Found some of the isotope tubes on Amazon. It should be glowing in the near future.
