The Pocket Operator series from Swedish hardware design company, Teenage Engineering, are compact devices, no bigger than your typical graphing calculator that let you to make music in the palms of your hands. All three Pocket Operators come complete with animated graphics, synthesizer engines, punch-in effects, built-in speakers, and more.

With the PO-12 dedicated to the drums, the PO-14 controlling the sub, and PO-16 in charge of creating the melody, these little controllers can be synced with each other via their 3.5 mm in/outputs or other external gear to create a full blown musical production. These models all feature professional feel buttons and battery protection.
The PO-12 is a rhythm pad, which incorporates a drum synthesizer, sequencer parameter locks, individual step re-trig, and punch-in effects to keep the melody in time. It’s equipped with real synthesized and sampled drum sounds as well as 16 punch-in effects including delay, bit crusher, and multiple filters to add some style to your production.
Adding depth to your mixes, the PO-14 is a bass line synthesizer featuring multiple synthesizer engines, including FM, subtractive synthesis, wave table and physical string modeling. Like the PO-12, this sub controller features sequencer capabilities, parameter locks, and punch-in effects.
The PO-16 is a dedicated melody synthesizer and sequencer, also fitted with parameter locks, and punch-in effects, as well as arpeggio and chord play style functions. Capable of producing classic synth and keyboard tones, the 16 is ideal for a variety of musical tastes.
