Tenhz—previously known as Audbos—is the new name in high-value IEMs. The P4 Pro stands out for its four balanced-armature drivers: a configuration rarely seen in IEMs of this price Read More
I am extremely cautious of chifi multi driver IEMs.
Too many have issues with BAs dropping out.
Sure they are great performance for the money but its a waste if they only last 2 months.
Drop - are these going to physically fall apart in the first month or two like every other time you've offered them, or have improvements been made? I love the sound quality but hate the build quality.
Loved them while they lasted for a couple of month. Now the left channel randomly goes down to low volume (like only one high frequency BA is working or something). No warranty on Massdrop's side. Given @josemiguelsj have the same issue below I'd say the quality could be better on these ones.
Recieved mine on Feb 2. Have used them less than 10 times since, and been very gently. I like the sound but the black logo plate is already splitting from the rest of the acrylic body of one of the headphones which I noticed when I took them out a few days ago. Massdrop says they can do nothing. Unacceptable. I noticed earlier that it did not seem as flush with the rest of the bod as the other headphone but assumed that was not an issue. Extremely disappointing quality control and support.
Sleepy-HeadMy faceplate fell off somewhere in the subway and was lost. Pretty lousy customer support on this. With so many people having the same problem due to poor quality control on TenHz's part, you would think that Massdrop would try to find a fix for it. (Provide replacement faceplates?) They should certainly not go back to them for another drop.
Would anyone have any ideas on how to cover the exposed drivers in the left earbud? I can't just glue the faceplate back on. Does anyone know how to contact the manufacturer?
I received mine last week. Great initial sound but a few days later the right speaker sounds up to 10%. Now I have a crappie pair of monophonic headphones. Who responds for the quality of this product, Massdrop?
UPDATE: Yes, Massdrop responded and reimbursed me for this defective product.
