I purchased these because I had a chance to check out the TFZ King Pro which I was very impressed with. First, I am just a novice. I love music, I use these with a Pioneer XDP-30R DAP. I broke these in for 15 hours before I really sat down and used them. I did replace the cable with a TRN 8 core balanced cable. Honestly on all of my IEM's I notice a difference by replacing the stock cable. I listen to a variety of music and with these I ran through some of the following to check the performance: Garbage, Rush, Third Eye Blind, Poe, Natalie Merchant, Veela, Pink Floyd, Zack Brown, Patrick O'Hearn. This gives me a wide range of music to test he performance. To me very well balanced, Great bass (Which I like). I compared these to BGVP DMG which I Massdropped around the same time. At first I liked the BGVP DMG better. But after swapping out cables on both pairs I prefer the TFZ Galaxy T2's better. For the money this is a great buy.
parmesanKeep in mind that there are specific issues for listener's to deal with. Mine are that I have trouble with the tips and positioning of the IEM's to get the best seal in the ear canal. But even with me holding the DMG's I feel like my preference is the TFZ's. I did upgrade one of my lower end with an upgraded KZ cable, and it improved it, but I don't listen to those anymore because I have upgraded my purchased to a higher quality IEM class. Anyway, I hope this works out for you.
