it had decent sound, i wouldnt pay more than what we payed for, so the "total saved" is bullshit, it should be 0. On top of that mine died after 6 months so yea. 2/5, would of prefered actully saving money not payintg retail.

Just adding a note that I have received these finally and am bitterly disappointed with the sound quality. I get MUCH better sound out of cheap Monoprice "Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphone" (available on Amazon) than I do with this immediately discardable set. If we could give star ratings here, I'm giving it 1 star. Stay away from future drops! TS01 stands for "Total Stars: 01"

My tracking record indicates that it was "Delivered" at 2:33 AM (US time - timezone unknown) on 8 June. However I do not have them in my possession. The question is were they delivered to another department (i.e. Customs and Excise?). This came after 6 days of non-activity where I assume they were trying to figure out how much to gouge us for in import duty...

I'm a bit skeptical that the rating actually indicates the sound pressure level at the ear drum. With speakers, the sensitivity rating is often accompanied by a measurement distance (eg, 92db 1W@1 meter). With IEMs, I've rarely seen this. Is it right at the ear tube? 5mm away? I'd suspect that relative to what is actually perceived, the sensitivity specs are probably generally inflated.

But does anyone know how good these sound? I am looking for some earbuds to listen to music with, without breaking the bank. Not looking for stellar quality, but not dollar store earbuds either.

Well since dB are log-scale it is more than it sounds like, about 40% increase in amplitude and 25% increase in perceived loudness with the same power input.
