Only thing i could complain about is the bluetooth but since I use them on my pc , Its rare to connect them. I love the sound and the volume control is good for its size.
Speaker sound quality is good. Soundstage is ok as is peak volume. Don't get as loud as I expected and many issues with the bluetooth feature including a humming/hissing sound, delayed audio, and problems connecting bluetooth devices.
I think these are definitely worth the price at $90. They're a bit bigger than I was expecting but I made them fit on a desk with dual monitors and they sound great. I just have them hooked up to a Fulla Schiit which connect to my computer. I refuse to turn them all the way up even just to see how loud it'll go b/c I'll shatter some glass or get a noise complaint at the very least (they can go crazy loud). The bass and treble adjustment are really great b/c sometimes I really want the bass to come out and sometimes I want the treble to sparkle just a bit more. I've only used them for maybe a week total and they sound great for general computer speakers, but I think I still need my headphones for when I mix a song. It's fun to hear the mix on them after, though.
Disclaimer: This is my first pair of bookshelf speakers/studio monitors/computer speakers (I've only been using headphones up to this point) but especially for the price on here and free shipping it deserves 5 stars.
If you're looking for affordable speakers for versatile casual use, these are well worth the price tag. If you want reference monitors or audiophile quality, these aren't going to cut it. But what they do they do well. I've used them as computer speakers, I've used them to listen to music using bluetooth, and now they're hooked up to an Marantz 6025 turntable. I guess my one complaint is that if your friend's phone is already paired to them, you have to get them to manually unpair it, but that's a pretty minor problem.
