Though function-loaded watches bring a lot to the table, they tend to be gaudy and overbuilt. While dress watches look great with a collared shirt, they don’t offer much functionality Read More
I have owned and worn this watch for over 8 years and recommend it. My only concern before the purchase was how durable it would be and it keeps on ticking, no problem. The watch is very comfortable once the strap is cut to fit and the titanium case and rubber strap make it so light you forget you are wearing it. The movement is very accurate and the functions are easy to use although after a while, there are only a few that you really use. At the time it was a marvel of technology but ask yourself if you really need an altitude indicator or barometer?
The current price is about what I paid so that is a plus for new purchasers, I guess. The biggest drawback to me is the appearance. Despite the titanium case and Tissot branding, to most people it looks like a you are wearing a Timex or Casio which isn’t the image you want from a sub $400 watch.
Yet another fail by drop.
This watch is available on bracelet at jomashop for a normal price of $399, all day every day.
Currently, there is a coupon code for $25 off any purchase over $300, making it $5 cheaper, with faster shipping and better customer service.
Way to keep sucking Drip, why not go plan some rewards programs for mental munchkins, by mental munchkins. Twats.
Watch is cool, though.
Obviously, not all of us pledge every waking hour to the comments section of a retail site we don't particularly care for, in an effort to establish ourselves as the saltiest old turd in the land. Anyway, there's nowhere for this conversation to go. I pointed out that you're wrong. You know I'm right, and are being predictably defensive.
ED61There you go--tried and tested!Seems there was a big discussion a year or so back on this very topic? Opinions were hot and heavy on both sides of the argument. From this point forward--I'm going to consider it settled law!

Not sure who this watch is for? perhaps someone like me who hikes and is in the outdoors regularly and also enjoys a touch of premium watchmaking.
But, the GPS, Compass, barometer and altimeter functions are best served by a dedicated watch like a garmin or Suunto - where legibility and reliability are prioritised and the functionality is much better (visualising waypoints, mapping functions etc).
These are safety functions, not applications for doodling with at the office desk.
So, the addition of some stylistic functions like the hands and busy dial take a way from these outdoors functions which leads me to think that this watch is for someone who wants to tell people that they are outdoorsy but also wants a stylish watch.
Unfortunately this watch is not stylish either so you're left with a watch that an outdoorsman wouldn't want and is too ugly to wear with a suit, or, well, anything really.
There are far better watches that look 'outdoorsy' and stylish with about being a frankenstein that does nothing particularly well. Most smartphones are better at the outdoors functions than this watch anyway.
