So far I'm really digging the Toneking T4 IEM. Hope the following feedback helps! SOUND: The soundstage is surprisingly good and has a great stereo image. Immediately, I noticed that they sounded better than I even hoped. Pretty solid bass reproduction even though they are not built for bassy listening. Clear mids and highs. I really dig. I've used a lot of different <$500 IEM's and these probably sound the most magical. Not the most critical or revealing but definitely the most fun. FIT: Cord is a little short which is fine for me and my uses but might be inconvenient for some. The part of the IEM that actually situates in your ear is a little large and therefore a bit tight even with small tips. Makes for a good seal but not super comfortable listening for extended periods of time. Also the IEM itself is a little larger than I expected and is a bit conspicuous so not the best choice for listening if you're a performer on stage. (I was hoping to be able to use these for that purpose. If you're looking primarily for a performing IEM, I'd suggest looking elswhere.)

Not a full review, but just a few impressions. Very clean and clear mids and treble. Lean/neutral presentation that is somewhat bright. Treble is a little forward and detailed, but never sibilant or harsh. The midrange and treble are the stars of the show here. Bass quantity is below neutral. Very little sub bass response. Fast, BA bass. It can occasionally exhibit a little bit of a metallic timbre that is somewhat common with BA IEMs. It shows up more with some vocals and less with others. It's pretty noticeable in Can't Hide (feat. Ashe) - Whethan but not so much in White Foxes - Susanne Sundfør. Excellent pairing with iFi micro iDSD BL (w/ bass boost on). With the bass boost, these have a much more balanced signature across the board and they really come alive. Even with the boost, I'd say the bass is only a few dB above flat. Even with the boost, these are definitely NOT for bassheads or those who like a strong bass response. If the bass was like this out of the box, it'd be one of my top recommendations for neutral IEMs in the $100-$200 price range. The shape of the shells makes them quite comfortable for my ears and they are very stable. The cable is excellent. It looks great and is supple. Above average (low) microphonics. This is one of the best stock cables I've come across and I actually prefer it to the one that came with my 64 Audio A12t. It is a little on the short side. Travel case is protective and small; perfect for throwing into a backpack to travel or go to work/school with.
