The original production model from Traveler Guitar, the Pro-Series is among the smallest, lightest full-scale hybrid acoustic/electric guitars on the market. It measures 28 inches long and weighs 3.5 pounds, with an in-body tuning system that eliminates the need for a headstock. The 24.75-inch scale houses 22 medium frets, and is complete with chrome hardware, D’Addario EJ15 strings, and a removable lap rest for comfortable playing while seated. Sourced in the eastern United States, the maple for the body and neck features a Natural Satin finish.
Note: This drop is for new B-stock instruments with the original box and paperwork. Traveler Guitar has very stringent quality control procedures, and a tiny imperfection in the finish can qualify a guitar for B-stock. These guitars may have minor cosmetic imperfections which will not affect playability.
The Traveler Guitar Pro-Series comes with a unique stethophone headset, designed to provide a private listening experience without batteries or preamps. Also included is a gig bag, ready to go wherever you do. It has a large pocket for capos, picks, and other small items, and can be carried using the nylon hand strap or the adjustable shoulder strap.
Inventor Leon Cox built the very first Traveler Guitar in his garage workshop in Redlands, California, in 1992, using old tuning machines, spare conduit, and wood salvaged from a discarded bar top. The first model was sold in the local music store and on sales trips throughout California and Arizona. Today, Traveler Guitar’s product line includes a range of electric and acoustic guitars, available in 30 countries worldwide.
