It's pictured with TRRS 2.5 termination, but the description says 3.5, so what??? Besides that, several sites published the TRN press release. There, it's stated as swappable plugs in 2.5/4.4 balanced + 3.5 SE. Which one is true? Very confusing. Please clarify asap! For reference: https://gadgetgenerations.com/trn-announces-ba15-a-flagship-iem-with-15ba-drivers/ "The TRN BA15 comes bundled with a 16-core silver-plated OCC copper cable that has swappable termination plugs. It is a 240-strand Litz braided cable that allows the BA15 to deliver a dynamic and true-to-life sound reproduction. The package includes 3.5mm single-ended, 4.4mm balanced, and 2.5mm balanced termination plugs."
mtheimannThe 16-core silver-plated OCC copper cable has swappable termination plugs so you can utilize a 3.5mm single-ended, 4.4mm balanced, or 2.5mm balanced termination plugs.
xBurritoChildThank you for the info! Means that TRN's own press release is plainly wrong! It's even pictured with the three plugs. I cannot imagine that Drop repacks it and downgrades the accessories? That said, how is your first impression of the BA15? Of course there wasn't time yet for proper burn in, but I'm just curious.
mtheimannTo be honest Im just starting out in this hobby with my only comparisons been my now replaced ATH-E40, ATH-M50x, DT 990 Pro and AKG 240 Pro. So far I really like them. However, I got them hooked on to my Fiio BTR5 on High Gain and LDAC mode and so far Ive been able to tell the detail of each sound much more clearly, voices in certain songs like Mantra by Dave Grohl, Copy of a by Nine Inch nails, Man Overboard by Puscifier and BLOOD by KLOUD stick out more too which I really like, theres others songs where too many sounds start to mute the voices and these have made the voice more clear when such occurs and even then I can hear the individual sounds from all around me.
FrogmeatSorry about that......- damn press release. The box shows three options: 3.5mm, 2.5mm or 4.4mm and the 3.5mm is underlined. Looks like we didn't have any option on which termination we wanted. Not sure my reaction yet on these......didn't seem overly bright - mid-range/highs seemed clear but not sure there is a lot of low end bass we'll see after I finish running them through the 1More burn in app. Haven't seen any professional reviews yet.
