A serious bargain in the world of dual-driver hybrid IEMs, the TRN V20 packs a whole lot of value into its compact form. With one dynamic driver and one balanced-armature driver per ear, it delivers an accurate, balanced sound Read More
EffinRedI had that issue up until the day they showed up in my mailbox. The tracking info NEVER loaded, I even checked earlier the day they were delivered.
Just gotta tough it out, I think
I received mine the other day. Finally broke them out and they sound pretty good. Worth the investment for sure. Not sure what to store them in but you can't have everything LOL.
I did get my 'phones today, they arrived with a DHL Express label.
I don't know if the drop-shipper made some massive mistakes and the DHL is just trying to make up lost time, they were trying to pull a fast one and Massdrop applied pressure to get them to straighten up, or what, but there is no China Post label anywhere. It appears the China Post tracking number was fake, but they are evidently shipping them now and via DHL Express.
BradumHopefully my receiving a pair wasn't a fluke and it indicates the others are on their way.
Still doesn't seem to be a very efficient, or forth-coming, approach to fulfilling a drop--or an order of any kind, really...
According to Massdrop information mine were shipped on Aug. First. Still there is no tracking information. I asked about this and got a BS story from "Tony" that they have not shipped. Funny HUH!!
Have you considered it might have been a mistake? It's not like there's some dude manually typing up on the emails, or every "it's shipped" email is given approval by management... It's automated, so something could have accidentally triggered it.
With that being said, it would be nice if they'd give the people who are part of the drop an update.
BradumOf course it's possible it was a mistake. Someone, somewhere could have somehow mistakenly given everyone in the drop individually-generated, false tracking numbers. I don't know why they would have mistakenly created the mechanism to generate false tracking numbers rather than simply expecting to use legitimate tracking numbers provided by the postal agency--but more bizarre mistakes have happened before...
BradumChina Post can be slow, but they're handling 20% of the mail on the planet. One thing they DON'T have a problem with is updating information. If it's not in their system it means they don't have it. I don't know who Massdrop expected to drop-ship these IEM's, but either Massdrop or the shipper is not being truthful about them being "on the way."
