I'm wondering if it would work for air cooling since I'm pretty new to this I'm not comfortable with making my own loops yet so just wondering how the airflow is.
Newegg’s prices for the black one are insane. Looks like an interesting project for watercooling but I have to wonder, as have others, who would be responsible for damage during delivery given the insane weight. Perfect situation for 3 companies to blame each other and no satisfaction for the customer. Too bad, would have liked to buy this one.
rirzeI bet Micrology meant to say "option" instead of "open" and if so, the answer to your question would be, it would require at least cutting and drilling and then probably building some structures onto which 3.5" bays could be mounted. Of course it would be harder for some people than others, but time-consuming for anybody.
The snow edition is the real deal here, usually $250 or $270 elsewhere, hoping two more people hop in! Going to use this for my first hard line custom watercooling build, and the case simply looks amazing!
I think the only real deal here is the White version. The Black version is priced at pretty much the typical sale price of this case - at least for the past couple of months, and could have been priced lower somewhere else.
Interesting case. Other than the shear size and weight, the size of which might be a reason not to buy, it's a very tempting build option. I just bought the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X, which has a lot of similar options. The Phanteks still weighs 43lbs vs this at 53, so both are heavy. Be neat to take my same build and put it in this case to see what temps I could get for the same price. Seems like you would get better airflow with the Tower 900. Kind of surprised you can't put two systems in it, like you can with the Evolv X...considering how much space is there. I'm curious what it's like to build in this system.
Jkay064Never and I say “never “ had I had problems with rebates over decades using them. I of course send them with registered mail. As long as your patient and willing to follow up with a letter showing the registered receipt to motivate a tardy company, I have not had issues. I know you’re implying that they offer but not follow through but keep in mind that that would be a federal crime with mail fraud and such. I don’t think a well established company would want the headache of a fed complaint.
