I find it very odd that they don't specify what bluetooth version, or which codecs are supported. I checked the manufacturer site and even the manual. Nada. Seems like an odd omission.
Yes sir, by-cracky, I remember the good old days--somewhere back around '18 or '19--way back then, we used to listen to music in STEREO! That's right--we had two speakers; one for the left channel, and another for the right channel!

Bet you damn kids didn't even know there was a right channel did you?!!!
Not trying to be rude but is there a reason to get this over the Charge 4? It has half the battery, no IPX cert and costs substantially more even after massdrop "discount". I don't see the appeal to use this as a portable amp and it also doesn't seem to have the option to seamlessly pair multiple units together.
flusckWell, for many people sound quality is way more important, so this speaker might sound way better than the Charge 4. But to know that, we first wait for reviews I suppose. The fact it can be used as an amp have me guessing it might sound way better.
