I purchased this to match the ducky sakura mech keyboard, and the colorway is a 100% match. the only downside is my keyboard has pink backlighting and the numpad doesn't. that's my own fault for not realizing the numpad used white LEDs, but if there's a pink version ever, that would be amazing.

Hey everyone, I would like to share some more info from Varmilo regarding their new EC switches:
"Varmilo Officially Releases Contactless Electrostatic Capacitive Mechanical Switch Electrostatic capacitance machinery is the combination of electrostatic capacitance trigger principle and traditional mechanical switch structure. Different from the physical triggering of the conduction of the traditional mechanical switch contact, the electrostatic capacitance is triggered by calculation of the capacitance change in the switch body when the actuator is pressed, and the non-contact conduction is realized. Although it is a electrostatic capacitance trigger mode, Varmilo refers to the traditional mechanical switch structurally, and improves its structure, so that while retaining the pure mechanical keyboard feel, there is no key spring sound, and the pre-travel can be more smooth.

The biggest factor influencing the life of the traditional mechanical switch is the contactor ( the life of 50 million clicks provided by the manufacturer refers to the life of the contactor), while the electrostatic capacitive switch triggered by the electrostatic capacitor has no life limit of the contactor, theoretically. (In the premise that other electrical components are not damaged) can reach infinite life.

The first Varmilo electrostatic capacitive mechanical switch will be distributed as individual key chains. Not only can you try the new electrostatic capacitive mechanical switches, but you will also be able to show off your identity as a mechanical keyboard player.

Sakura Switch: Its actuation force of 45cN is similar to Cherry MX Red, but compared with traditional EC switch, its typing feeling is less friction, smoother and lighter.

Rose Switch: Varmilo and a professional team of e-sports work together for this switch which is with actuation force of 58cN, slightly heavier than Cherry MX Red, but lighter than Cherry MX black. Long-term using will not feel tired.
