A balanced amp with excellent German build quality, the Violectric V181 has what it takes to drive everything from IEMs to HD800s to big orthodynamics with ease. Its low-noise, low-distortion circuit delivers clarity and detail through the whole spectrum, in a sleek gray aluminum body with statement gold feet and Violectric’s signature infinity sign on the front panel.

Low Noise, Clear Sound
Along with two standard quarter-inch headphone jacks and one balanced 4-pin XLR output, the front panel features a volume control that’s been upgraded from the V100. This specially made ALPS pot is slightly bigger with a less slick grip, and provides a satisfying, precise detented feeling while turning. On the back panel, you’ll find two silver-plated headphone outputs, two gold-plated unbalanced inputs, and pre-gain switches. Inside, the V181 uses four amplifiers to achieve a smooth, relaxed soundstage and true balanced headphone output, with a toroidal transformer, large filtering capacitors, and a high-quality op-amp in the signal path.
