I'd be a lot more interested in this if it'd drop alongside Yulong's new A28 balanced stereo amp. I made a poll for that amp ages ago now, but something is wrong with it and it doesn't show up when searching or browsing polls, so it's getting votes VERY slowly (it's only accessible by direct link for some weird reason).

A28 + P18 + Decent Yulong DAC would make for a very nice headphone component mini-stack, that'd drive anything with authority and clarity.

AnonymouseHey Anonymouse,
We're working with Yulong on bringing the A28 to the Massdrop community. We can't make any promises at this point, but know that we've heard you and we're trying.

RyneWeissWell that's good news. Maybe you could eventually do a "stack" drop with options or something?
Any idea what's happened with that poll, though? There's no way to "find" it other than having the direct URL. That doesn't seem right?

AnonymouseOur poll algorithm sorts polls with a number of factors like age, votes per view, etc. If it makes you feel any better, I have made two polls with no votes, and I work for Massdrop.

RyneWeissWhy can't I find the poll by putting text from it into the search box, though?
And it sounds like you're saying your "poll algorithm" is actually selectively _hiding_ most polls?

AnonymouseReally? I found your poll through the search box. I searched Yulong, and it was the fourth one down "Fully-balanced headphone amplifiers."
Our poll algorithm doesn't hide polls, it randomly chooses a bunch of polls to put in front of users based on a number of factors. It makes sure polls that have the most user interest have the highest visibility. It's similar to how Facebook/Tumblr decide what to put on your newsfeed/dashboard.
