Packed with 70 drum kits and 12 bass styles, the Zoom RT 223 is a compact rhythm machine built for rehearsals and live performances. The drum sounds include acoustic sets, ethnic percussion kits, human beat-boxing mixes, and an analog rhythm machine just to name a few. For bass sounds, you can pick from an assortment of styles including fingerpicking, slapping, acoustic, synthesizer, and more.
The Zoom RT 223 is fully customizable as you have the ability to combine elements from different machines to create your own drum kit, as well as fine tune the pitch, levels, and panning settings. The RT 223 comes equipped with a COMP EQ effect, which lets you control the overall EQ and tonal quality of any drum set or bass sound. The device also lets you adjust REVERB effects. The personalized EQ, and reverb settings can be stored and saved for later as patches.
There are 440 patterns representing all music styles already present in the RT 223. For further customization, you have the option of creating and programming your own patterns to use while in Groove Mode, a function that’s designed for live performance and DJ-ing. Incorporated into the RT 223’s design is a footswitch to control a whole sequence, a metronome function to help keep time as well as a MIDI IN connector and line input to play along with an external device.
