AAW A3H, ASH & Canary IEMs

As a follow-up on my purchase, I did buy the ASH during the advertised Drop. I still own the W900 but I decided to sell the SE846 due to how well the ASH perform. A notable observation worth sharing is the ASH are not the bass-head iem that's stated in their marketing. The bass is excellent, firm and rich, but in no way overdone. The SE846 is more bass-present than the ASH but that's actually the reason I sold the SE846 and kept the ASH. The ASH are in the sweet-spot of impedance and I've experienced absolutely no hiss whatsoever. I've played them through an AK380-SS, Hiby R6-Pro, Mojo, Hugo 2, Vega, LG V30, and a multitude of desktop amps... with no aberrant sounds at all. They match particularly well with the Mjolnir 2 and Liquid Platinum amps. The ASH are slightly larger than the W900 and fit every bit as well as their brethren. I've now owned the ASH for 7 months and have no inclination to sell them. For reference, I find the Chord products are by far my preference of the many DACs I've owned and the Auralic Vega sits in sole 2nd place.

AAW AXH Holiday Edition here. Tips make all the difference with depth, width, and frequency response. It’s an airy headphone with good warmth and plenty of detail on tap. Lip smacks and breaths come through. Female vocals are rendered well enough, male vocals have good body and grit. Bass is linear, mids are slightly recessed. It has decent isolation and it’s good for commutes. AAWs mid and upper tier has good cables and cases. All tiers are built well and sturdy. Worth every dollar.

I do have the Canary. The soundstage ia stunning. The Canary does not blow your mind during the first minute. After 5-10 minutes the 3D like soundstage is very impressive.
