3 IEMs With Breakthrough Technology
AAW’s in-ear monitors have earned acclaim in both the universal-fit and custom-fit categories. These are three of the company’s universal models, each complete with a 4-foot detachable cable and all the accessories you need. The A3H features one 10-millimeter proprietary dynamic driver and two balanced armatures, assembled in a three-way crossover. Meanwhile, the premium ASH uses a 13-millimeter graphene driver (an industry first!) and six balanced armatures in a four-way crossover. By using TruXross technology, these models address the crossover problems found in many multi-driver IEMs, which can lead to chaotic phase shift and scrambled arrival timing. Another breakthrough by AAW, the Canary electrostatic IEM features cutting-edge miniature electrostatic tweeter technology with a six microgram, gold-plated membrane held against a plate charged up to 400 volts. For clear-clear articulation across all frequencies, the Canary utilizes a 4-way passive/acoustic crossover design with each driver is meticulously configured to perform in its designated frequency range, optimally minimizing phase shift.
