The Acoustic Research Bolt 1.0 Bluetooth speaker is less than 10 inches wide, but still it packs a powerful audio punch. It delivers clean, detailed sound, due in part to its 20W RMS with active subwoofer and best-in-class impulse response Read More
The sound and size of this bluetooth speaker is just right for me. Cost is also good. However the product workmanship is cheap. And there is a electric noise when power on. I don't use this speaker much because of this noise.
The bass degrades quickly when you go higher in volume, but the speaker is jot intended for that. I connected it to my iPhone and not sure why it found 2 Bluetooth connections but 1 of the 2 works perfectly
Good for pairing with smartphones and you pair only with one device only.
When you pair with PC you need to turn this on every time it gets turn off while not in use.
For:
Good sound.
Feels heavy.
Nice built.
Cons:
cannot have simultaneous connection as a normal Bluetooth speaker,
need un pair the old and pair the new - for a new connection
pairing steps are too old.
will be turned off, if not in use and we need to turn it back on every time we thought of using it, even though it is connected with power.
So I ordered this speaker because I needed a new one to take to work (I work in a factory, and yes I know this is defiantly not the best place to use this). I find this to be very clear and along with the sub in it, extremely basey. it can get very loud depending on the setting you are using it in, I can hear it in my workstation fairly well and others don't overpower it. In a nice quite area this is amazing. sounds very good for the price I payed (which at the time was 45$)
there are a few downsides that I have encountered, I'm not sure if its from the work setting i'm in when using it or if its a design error. when I use it while its charging, if I try to use the volume on the speaker it self, it has a shock of some sort, go through it and gets very quite then goes back to the regular volume.
and one last complaint, what ever that auto wakeup thing built into it is, I have no clue on how it activates, and have not taken time to find out. but it is fairly annoying, when I drive home I have this in my backpack that I bring with me, and sometimes it will disconnect my phones connection to the car and take over on the speaker.
other than those few issues, I'm fairly satisfied with this purchase
(at the time of purchase 45$)
