You may be right. Maybe AR is not what it used to be. Nevertheless it would be nice to have some feedback from users of this little soundbox

I owned a pair of AR-2ax speakers back in the day. I had them rebuilt (woofer surround etc) and to this day they sound awesome!!! My neighbor loves them LOL. But like you said that was very far in the past. No reflection on todays AR products.

So have these things just been sitting in a warehouse for the last 2 years? They haven't sold a single one to a person to review? So many red flags.

I believe the AR TM and name was sold several years ago. Pretty sure this isn't the same company I remember from the early 1970's.

It seems like the last run might have been cancelled in 2017. Since then, not a single review anywhere, and now they've halved the price. It's so annoying because it looks great and has great specs, but audio is not one of these things where you should go by looks/specs alone. Can anyone find a single review or did anyone get one in a previous run?

KoopaWhat would be funny is if it turns out they sound AMAZING...I wasn't brave enough to buy one to find out...Will anyone take / buy one for the team the next time it pops up in another 2 years? Maybe the price would be halved again...

Is this thing a pile or is it worth the money? I feel like Massdrop is a REALLY BAD place for a portable speaker at this price point. Especially one that no one has heard of.

Bluetooth Cable is quite rare. The cable alone is worth more than the speaker!

That’s a large chunk of change for a speaker that has no info or reviews online. Even the AR website doesn’t mention it.
