Even though these reviews are all over the place I bought a pair anyway! Hopefully Advanced has gone back in and modified all the issues listed here and in product reviews, I still made the purchase based on my love for my M5 1D's which are excellent iem's;-)
bits of the rubber cap for the usb port is mildy torn from just 2 months of very light use. it is really difficult to remove the cap to charge the headphones now.
Thanks for the offer Scutts. I'm in singapore so that is abit difficult.
I trimmed the part of the cap that is slotted into the usb, so it is easier to take out the cap now. This trimming make it less sweat proof i suppose, but is fine for me since i only use it on my commuting. Perhaps you guys can make the usb cap better next time :)
yxamYou shouldn't be experiencing this issue this early on. I've sent a note to our support team. Please send an email to support@adv-sound.com and they will take care of you.
These sound pretty good (better than other bluetooth IEM's I've heard), but don't fit my ears. The loop over the ears was not tall enough and it is rigid. I gave them to the wife and she likes them fine.
When they worked, sounded great. All 5 times I used them!! Died sent them back. Got another pair and they won't synchronize with my phone. Tried several other phones. You get what you pay for!!! Got a set of Bose...twice the cost ; even better sound, much much longer battery life and they stand up to my sweaty workouts.
GeodHi Geod, I've sent an inquiry into your issue to the customer service team. You shouldn't have any issues connecting Evo X to your phone. If you haven't done so already, try draining the battery, fully recharge and pair again. You have to long press the power button to put Evo X in a pairing mode. -Peter
GeodBose has an awful freq response curve with scooped mids. I never had problem with mine syncing to five different devices over the year plus I have owned these. YMMV
MrGReeeNI mean, maybe I was just trying to give some helpful information in an update for others to see what I actually experienced, considering I could answer my own question before anyone else had...nah that makes no sense. I obviously was trying to gain some massdrop comment karma lol
I can't comment on the battery life or the sweat issue, but sound is really good for Massdrop's price. I really hope the battery holds because the sole reason of getting this set was my Sony Bluetooth headset lasts only 10 minutes now after using about half a year.
