The Stereo/Binaural iOS Adapter is custom-modified in small quantities in the US by Sound Professionals, and available with your pick of three microphones for a stereo-sound capture that provides a truly lifelike listening experience.

Mounted in super-soft “ear hook” holders, the Binaural Ear-Hook microphones set the mic element right next to the ear canal, producing recordings that are extremely realistic from the listener’s perspective. This pair of omnidirectional mics have a small black satin body and two flexible 48-inch cables that join into a standard stereo gold-plated 1/8-inch mini plug. Your hearing won’t be impaired while recording, so you can enjoy the sound of the performance as it happens.

Perfect for the professional recordist and other high-end applications, the Binaural Clip-On microphones offer amazing sound quality for their price range, with a lower self noise and more detailed, transparent high-frequency response than Sound Professionals’ standard binaurals. Removable lavalier clips are included, as are removable foam windscreens that help keep out unwanted noise, whether it’s a strong breeze outdoors or breaths between vocals in the studio.

The next generation in Sound Professionals’ line, the Master Series Binaural In-Ear microphones feature 17 dB less noise, 10 dB more sensitivity, and 10 dB higher maximum SPL than the standard model—resulting in less background hiss and greater dynamic range. Low noise (75-decibel signal-to-noise ratio) allows for recording even the quietest sources, and the mic element’s location within the pinna (the visible part of the ear outside of the head) makes for more realistic recordings than previously thought possible.
