Since its founding in 1979, Al Mar Knives has earned a reputation for quality cutlery and innovative designs. Headquartered in Oregon and taking inspiration from its late founder, blackbelt Al Mar, the company brilliantly combines form and function in each of its knives. The Falcon Classic Gentleman’s folder is no different. It features a slim, nimble blade made from AUS-8 stainless steel. Though the knife opens manually by way of a nail nick, it locks firmly in place with the back lock. The handle is two toned, with a stainless steel bolster and your choice of black micarta or brown cocobolo. The scales sit perfectly flush in the handle for a smooth feel in the hand. If it’s not in your breast pocket, the knife includes a leather slip pouch for storage.
