Featuring a 6n4 preamp section and two 6p6p power tubes in a dual Class-A configuration, this APPJ audio tube headphone amp offers high resolution, sweeping soundstage presentation, and full tonal quality. Compact and elegant, with solid housing, the amplifier is designed to drive high-impedance headphones all the way up to 600 ohms with little clipping or distortion. It also features audio-in and audio-out functions through the RCA ports.
Ripe For Customization
The 1502A uses commonly available tube types, so if tube rolling is your thing you’re in for some fun. The 6n4 is replaceable with any 12ax type—12ax7, 12au7, 12at7, etc.—and the 6p6p tubes are replaceable with any 6v6. Benefits include increased headroom, reduced self noise, and an overall personalized listening experience.
