After we were introduced to Atari Zero at the Seattle Mech Keys Meetup, we knew we had something special. Atari started small, replicating small toys and models before he ventured into the world of keycaps, where he eventually began live-streaming himself making artisans for fun Read More
Just got mine in today (and two days before I move across the country, so I didn't need to forward it! Great timing haha)

I'd give this keycap a 4.5/5. Full explanation below if you care to read it.
My first reaction was good, but a little disappointed quickly followed. The visible part of the keycap (the important bits) looked great. But I looked at the bottom and it lacked finishing that would have made it feel like a more premium product.
I hopped onto MD ready to blast a negative comment, but I decided to double check the drop page. Lo and behold, my keycap looks identical to the one in the drop photos.
So between the reasonable price point, unique aesthetic, and the fact that my cap came as advertised (although let's be honest, a little smoother grit for sanding/polishing the bottoms wouldn't be much to ask would it?) I definitely can't complain. 4.5/5
So I got my keycap which looks great but the stem doesnt fit correctly so I cant even use it... so I wait a few months cant use it and massdrop is doing a pathetic job and fixing the problem.
See the pictures I posted in a post down below!
Production and cleaning is complete. Now I am letting them dry before final inspection and packaging. They should be shipped to Massdrop's warehouse next week and then they'll be on their way to everyone a week after that.
Again, I want to thank you all for your support and for buying my first artisan offering here at Massdrop. I spent a lot of time getting everything just right. I produced about 2x the total order quantity overall, but some just didn't meet my standards. I even produced two complete runs of the Green Ooze colorway because I couldn't get the sickly green just right, but you'll be glad I did.
They all look gorgeous and I can't wait to see the pictures of these beauties on boards.
Hey folks! I just wanted to let you know that I'm moving right along producing these caps for y'all! I'm a little past 80% done producing the Neon Nostalgia colorway (which was more than half of the entire order quantity!) and will move on to the other colors this week.
To give you an idea of what goes into this: I have produced roughly 96 keycaps in the past week, but some just don't match the "intent" of what I presented. Sometimes they're too dark have a small defect or a visible bubble. Sometimes there's too much of one color presenting in the final product. I don't throw these away, but I won't be sending them along to the buyers. I strive to achieve What You See Is What You Get.
I'll include pictures of the keycaps in the next post :D
