The Aune X1s 2020 follows the popular Aune 10th Anniversary Edition, which provided an excellent value in an all-in-one DAC/amp solution. The X1s is the 7th generation of the Aune X1 Series. Featuring an upgraded DAC with an ES9038Q2M DAC chip—with the ability to decode 32bit/768k and DSD512 files—it’s built to take your music, movies, and games to new levels of clarity. Coupled with a 5th-generation class-A amp that can drive demanding headphones, it’s an excellent choice on any desktop. Also available as an add-on or standalone option is the X7s, a powerful Class-A balanced headphone amp with three gain levels, plus eight power transistors split into four groups for a truly balanced output. According to reviewers at Headfonia, the X7s is "more powerful than a number of $1,000+ amps," and its sleek, polished appearance fits well with any setup.
