Product Description
While it may look like something out of a 1950s office, the Azio MK-Retro Keyboard is anything but stuck in the past. Outfitted with handcrafted keycaps with chrome trim, this retro-style keyboard looks as good in the office as it does in the game room Read More

Both my husband and I have one so the comments are from both of us. It looks great, very retro, very cool. You rarely miskey. The click acknowledges that you’ve hit the keys hard enough. Heavy enough to keep it from sliding around. Neither of us have any complaints and both of us like it.

I've been using this keyboard for over a year and still love it. The keys are dirty but the lettering remains clearly visible despite my refusal to clean it.

This is one of my favorite keyboards that I have used (I generally have stuck with Pok3r before this) -- I get compliments on it consistently at work. I do not use it extensively for gaming, though it works just fine for most things. If you need precise key-presses, it may not be the best keyboard for the job, but overall it's superb. Feels, looks, and sounds great in a work environment.

I'll give this Azio Retro keyboard a 10 out of 10 for appearance and asthetics. It looks great; just like the old manual typewriter I learned to touch type on many years ago. Sadly, I'm disappointed, even at the discounted price, by the slight 'clunkiness' of the key strike action which is pretty poor for a mechanical keyboard. I have another AZIO mechanical keyboard and its keys are rock solid when they are struck and very definite in their feel. This retro version feels like each key is a tiny bit loose -- very odd for a so-called mechanical keyboard! The whole reason so many of us who do a lot of writing (as well as gaming) prefer mechanical keyboards is because we need to know we've hit the key so that we can touch type faster; be more productive and (I guess) play games better. Sure, I wanted it because it looked so cool but I need to be confident when I'm writing that I'm not missing keystrokes. I dare say I'll eventually get used to these odd keys but my beef is that they shouldn't be like that in the first place. I don't want this keyboard to be there 'just for show' I need a piece of gear that works well. This particular model of AZIO can definitely be improved upon or corrected. If there is a way of 'tightening up' the keys, I'd really appreciate it if someone can let me know how. Regards, Bill Halliwell

I like this keyboard. A bit difficult to get used to right out of the box. Function is good and I like the clicks. Good weight. Only down side . . . hard to clean unless you remove the keycaps. Dust is the constant enemy and the black gloss finish shows all the dust and such.

I write this review as someone who at most mildly cares about mechanichal keyboards as long as they do the litle clacky sound fine by me. I am a hardcore gamer and since sc2 days are gone so should macros that means the Gaming specific keyboard is a dumb label this days. so this keyboard is good enough for gaming and non ethusiast typing needs so why whould you spend 50-60 more for something that offers the same functionality as a cheaper option? because of the girls, everytime there is a girl at my house because we are going to study or whatever they look at it and think is pretty cool and want to type on it or something. that to me is worth the extra bucks.

Though it is not suited for speed typing, I love my Typewriter Style Keyboard. I was very surprised at the Cadillac looks and exceptional quality of this keyboard; it is very well made and sturdy.

Cute keyboard but I'm not a good typist and had a hard tome typing on it. That's not the keyboard's fault. I like the retro look and feel but...

Loving this keyboard so far. Once I’d gotten used to it, the rest of the more common keyboards in my department felt like I was typing in Jell-O. The looks of this thing probably net me anywhere from 5 to 10 comments per week from customers. Definitely an eyecatcher and a purchase I do not regret.
