It fell apart in the shipping box and Drop pawned the issue off on B&O
These newly refurbished headphones showed up at my door with an earcup pad fully detached and loose in the box. The pads are built to be removable, but this one still easily comes loose after being reattached. The pad being off also revealed that the sealing tape on the back of the earcup was misapplied and has folds/air bubbles. Just sloppy work, top to bottom. The headphones themselves are functional and sound fine, though the fit is a little tight for my tastes. Beyond the headphones arriving in a less than 100% state, the real issue is how Drop handled the situation. Because this product refurb was handled by B&O, Drop customer service essentially tells you to pound sand and speak to the manufacturer if you ask for help. That's ridiculous. My customer relationship is with Drop, not B&O. They don't have any record of my purchase because the order was placed on this third-party website. As the customer, I'd expect Drop -- which obviously has a business relationship with B&O -- to facilitate support communications when issues spring up. The fact that support's stock response is functionally "go talk to B&O and leave us out of it" is ludicrous. This is *DEFINITELY* the last refurb I will ever buy from this site and it's likely the last purchase for me overall. Whether it's ship timing, product quality, or poor communication, issues always seem to spring up with orders here. I can get my mechkeys and audiophile gear fixes in too many other corners of the internet to waste any more time and money on this business.
