This Bertucci is a reliable well made ameri-quartz
This watch keeps solid time is really well constructed and works with any issue whatsoever I find bertuccis to be one of the better quartz on the market and great value too!!
A nice tool watch when your activities go to the physical level. That way I can save my better watches from scratches or damages. Also the Bertucci I have is entirely plastic it also helps from scratching my cars when washing and cleaning. I have small wrists under 6.5" so the size is great for me, the strap is not a std NATO and I had to swap out because it was too stiff and hard to fold. Luckily the lug width is a common 20mm and I have plenty of NATO straps to choose from in my strap collection... Reminder it's a fixed lug and only made for NATO straps.
Some people have said it's small but watch sizes for men were under 36mm a few decades. Many Rolexes for men were 34mm and 36mm is still common for Datejust and OPs. I actually own a 2019 OP in 36mm.
It's got more character than your fashion watches and basic Casio. I have older eyes and the Arabic dial and white lettering over a black dial is great clarity. The red seconds hand also makes it pop with some color and I really like the military dial setup with the inner 24hr time markings. The lume is a little weak, hands and pips only and I wished the numerals were lumed but I guess the price would probably be more.
It's been highly accurate, I don't have a timegrapher but it's a nice set and forget watch.
The Drop price was excellent and it's a nice watch to compliment my watch collection..!
If you have Tiny wrists it is awesome.
For my taste it is a bit too small.
However it works, it is very easy to read. Lume 3/5 it is there, nothing special.
I like the desing and materials. It is incedibly light
I always have liked field watches from my time in the service. I have one from another company that has given me over 35 years of trusty service. I look forward to this new one to tick on for another 35! 😂
The watch is quite slim fitting and seems of high quality. The nylon band is really comfortable, although it feels rough at first. Since I got it only yesterday, I can not comment on the actual quality and longevity.
Bit smaller than I expected, but looks great. My only 'gripe' is that it doesn't use standard 20mm pins (has built in plastic pins), so can only be used with a nato style strap.
Thankfully this watch was inexpensive. It's small which I knew going in but has no weight to it at all. It seems like a kids watch. Someone please tell me why the Olive Drab strap is so shiney it glitters?? Inexpensive though.
