BladeI no longer have to wonder what happens to audio equipment when it has absolutely no protection from a dusty environment.

Would these work well with wireless headphones like the Steelseries H?

Mr.ColdStarYes, you just have to draw a pentagram around the tube and give it a blood sacrifice, then hold the headphones really close to the amp.

This looks like a toy, like one of those constructor type kits my sons plays with.

rumata13This is less expensive than most kids' toys. My Lego's Star Wars sets cost WAY more!

These amps are crap. They dont actually use the tubes for anything meaningful within the circuit and their build quality is junk. Youre better off going with a cheaper solid state option if you actually care about performance.
Dont fall for the vacuum tube hype. Well performing tube amps are expensive and for good reason.

"it features an Electro Harmonix 6922 12AU7-style tube that produces a warm sound signature to brightens up music without blowing it out" what does this even mean lol

Compatible with B9A tube sockets, which is just as confusing. I think they say this because 12au7 is so widely used. People familiar with it would have an idea of the tube "package" and socket fitting.

verifonix6922 and 12AU7 are different tubes (from https://www.head-fi.org/threads/bravo-audio-v3-discussion-and-mods.704243/page-10 and my humble experience just 1 hour ago - left channel does not work with 12AU7). For V3 requires 6922-compatible tubes.

I bought this on the last drop, I love my Bravo V3. It's a fun, cheap little tube amp. The EQ comes in handy.
Something important to note that isn't made clear on any of Bravo's documentation, for a "flat" eq, THE EQ HAS TO BE ALL THE WAY UP, not in the middle.

I haven't experienced clipping on top position at high volumes, and I'd rather trust the folks at head-fi, including the guy who modded it to bypass the EQ and says that the closest to natural position is all on top.

PeebleI stand corrected. Top position does indeed act as "EQ OFF".

This thing was great for the first few months, but it's since developed significant clicking and popping. I tried replacing the tube, but the problem persists. It's now unusably noisy.
I'll try resoldering the joints when I have the time, or maybe buying a grounded power supply for it, but honestly I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble.

I must say again that having tried 3 different Bravo units they all failed. I wonder if Massdrop reads their members comments on the products they sell. this is china made junk. buy made in the USA, plenty of really good amps/dacs available. Google search 'best headphone amps/dacs' Schiit audio makes very good tube amp/dac for cheap. read reviews on what you select and in the price range you can afford. you will find that a little research goes along way. you will be really happy you did. 46 yrs of experience

MIC1Luckily the one I ordered from Amazon worked (v3), but I agree, you get what you pay for. I bought this for testing out tube rolling (12AU7s specifically), so it did it's job... I gotta say though, not being a shielded design (mesh or metal case), I get cell interference. So, yeah, great intro product, not for the Audiophile, tho.
