Meh:- UI is mediocre at best. It's close enough to an old version of android to send you looking for familiar areas, but different enough to frustrate that those familiar areas are obscured.
- Volume wheel is set to "ultra fine tune" so you have to spin the thing for a long time before significant volume shifts happen. And then the sensor for the wheel fires randomly and the on-screen volume slider will get in the way of your navigation.
Bad:- This version of android is buggy beyond belief. Until I followed a deeply-buried barely-english set of steps on a forum somewhere, I had "google play services has stopped" errors literally every few seconds.
- The headphone jack is FRAGILE. A few weeks of daily use (carrying in my hoodie pocket or the back pocket of my jeans) has apparently compromised the connection. Now I lose the left channel or get static and have to jiggle the headphone cord in the jack until it decides to work again. This is a HUGE RED FLAG for what is supposed to be a portable device.
I was excited for this device. I really wanted to have an all-in-one option for my music sources with great sound quality. The UI issues and bugginess could potentially be worked past, but the headphone jack (probably the most important component)failing is unforgivable. Avoid this device.
