Featuring a dramatically tapered silhouette and a number of contemporary details, the Colibri Equinox fountain pen makes a statement in the office—and looks just as good on your desk at home. The barrel is smooth to the touch and pleasant to hold, accented by the polished metal (your choice of rose gold or chrome) of the trim, section, finial, and spring pocket clip. The section has a stepped line pattern for a secure grip, while the cap posts to add a bit of heft and closes with a satisfying snap.
Note: At checkout, you can choose the body color of your fountain pen between Black Lacquer/Polished Chrome (- $5), Brushed Black/Polished Chrome (- $5), Brushed Silver/Polished Chrome (- $5), White Lacquer/Chrome (- $5), or Black Lacquer/Rose Gold. You’ll also have the option to add a matching Rollerball Pen (+ $40, +$45 Black Lacquer/Rose Gold) or Twist Ballpoint Pen (+ $40, +$45 Black Lacquer/Rose Gold) in your choice of finishes.
Colibri was born in 1928, when founder Julius Lowenthal invented the world’s first semi-automatic lighter: the Swiss-made Colibri Original. Over the years, the company has established a legacy of innovation in lighters, introducing the first visible multiple gas refill, hydraulic auto-flint system, and non-battery, non-flint system—and even created the eponymous weapon for the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun. In the 1980s, helmed by the third generation of Lowenthals, Colibri expanded its product line to include luxury pens, wristwatches, and more.
